The last post was only in Polish and was explaining differences between various types of hoops and frames. Meanwhile there has been a bit going on in my stitching world :)
We started a Sampler SAL with other Polish stitchers and as I was waiting for my silks to arrive watching all the starts made me itch to start something too. I got the newest Marchetti chart on the sale and it was really calling out to me but than on Tuesday I was organizing my fabrics and came across a small longish piece of 33ct evenweave and thought 'This will be perfect for a Prairie Schooler chart'. I was right, I didn't even have to cut the fabric, fits perfectly with 3inch border. Comparing sizes of this and the Marchetti I say this was a lucky find but the Marchetti sneak attacked today - I printed the first page and checked if I have enough of the two main green. But unfortunately I'm still holding up.
So much further and without ado:
began our samplerowy SAL and seeing all the newly begun embroidery felt a very strong need of starting something new. Bought on sale at Haed najnowszey Matchetti'ego scheme (such joy-spring), and the temptation was very strong, but fortunately Interestingly, during Monday's orders in kanwach fallen into my hands a small oblong piece, which immediately reminded me of the drawings Prairie Schooler. When I chose Witches Go Riding - fits perfectly, nothing even przycinaĆam. Comparing the sizes of Marchettim was a happy event, but Marchetti still attracts me, so much so that today, after returning from classes printed the first page and checked if I have enough green embroidery floss for the main background colors. Unfortunately, I have, but still bravely resisted the temptation.
As you can see I did not do too much, but they are doing as much as two reasons. First - I managed to confuse black with 3371 (do not ask how) and it was a lot of ripping. The second - on Thursday in a box, I found this:
As you can see I have not done too much on it - there are 2 Reasons. One - I mistook 3371 for black (do not even ask) and there was some frogging. Two - look what I found in my mail on Thursday
Detritus These are two bags, variagated assortment (for John) and some floss for Roseanne. Also
That meant we floss for St. Hyppolite was in there - continued in next post)
In the photo above 2 pieces Detritus bag, nuanced set of threads (a January) and a few strands of Roseanne. Continued on next post:)
