Today I'll be answering questions :) Not much going on stitchingwise as this is my uni weekend. I started QS Fiona, but I managed only about 300 stitches so far (just check out how much Nadia stitched). As I was asked about this SAL I'll give more details.
The SAL is organized by HAED and only members of HAED BB can participate. The link to the BB is in the left panel. You can sign up till January 16th so there's not much time left. There are 4 charts available, each person choses one and is given one page every other month. To receive next page you have to complete the previous one. At the end there will a prize draw, but everyone who copletes their chart will receive the other 3. I QS chose Fiona, this is my second Christensen. Here are the pics of all 4:

I was able to start Fiona, but so far I made only 300 crosses (see how much has already done Nadia ). I received a few questions about this SAL, so I give more details.
SAL is organized by Haed and may participate in the forum, only members of (BB) Haed. Link to forum is in the left panel. To enter the forum trzeba napisać krótką wiadomość po angielsku dlaczego chce się być członkiem forum. Kiedy zostanie się zgodę trzeba z forum pobrać ankietę zgłoszeniową i wysłać na podany adres. Można się zgłaszać do 16 stycznia. Są dostępne 4 schematy, wybiera się jeden i dostaje jedną stronę co 2 miesiące. Żeby dostać następną stronę trzeba skończyć poprzednią. Pod koniec roku wśród osób, które ukończą cały schemat będą losowane nagrody a wszyscy dostaną komplet SALowych wzorów. Ja wybrałam Fionę, to już mój drugi Christensen.

The other groups I belong to are Wiehenburg and Chatelaine. In each of them you choose a chart you like and pay for yahoo group for them. Chatelaines are more expansive, between 15 and 20 euros. Wiehenburg groups are 11 euros.
The Advent Calendar I'm stitching is a free chart available exclusively to members of Chatelaine Support Group (this one is free). It's not really a calendar, there were 24 parts released daily in December. It uses DMC and Petit Treasure Braid.

Other groups to which it belonged, and Wiehenburg Chatelaine. Both companies make patterns in groups on yahoo, it is mostly a part of the month. Someday I'll write a longer post about the two companies, I'll do a summary today. The cost of participation is greater in the case of Chatelaine (15-20 euros) than Wiehenburg (11 euros). much better in case it falls Wiehenburg, and diagrams are beautiful and big.
advent calendar is not really a calendar. This model, which was made available to members of Chatelaine Support Group (link in the left panel) in 24 parts in December. I recommend subscribe to this group if you like the patterns Chatelaine - are in the free patterns on various occasions and the group is free.
Basia - Thank you:) I did not think about the exhibition, did not even know that it is only every three years. I do not know how to submit to such a festival, or do not know anyone who took part in it. I will be grateful for the information. All the work done so far are dealt, some went to the housing. As for ordering from abroad and the issue of group I in which only they can pay paypal. For this you need a credit card, mbank it sure seems such a card. If you need more specific instructions drop me an email and I'll try to explain. For participation in the group can pay only in this way.
At the end of Vikki Clayton:) Well I embroiders her thread, I managed to catch them have two people:) Threats no color, silk is soft and slightly shining. U Vikki even 'normal' colors are very lightly shaded, which are great for samplers. I also have a silk thread Thread Gatherer (shaded) and NPI (normal). Both companies are quite expensive, NPI embroiders the sensational, are almost unbelievably soft, and Thread Gatherer is fairly rough and not too hard for what I represent. Translating for money is definitely in favor of Vikki.
